Darryl Greene is the owner/operator of D. Greene Sports. Mr. Greene has over 10 years experience working as an agent, and has been certified by the National Basketball Players Association since 1999 as a certified player agent. Prior to becoming an agent, Mr. Greene attended Minnesota State University - Moorhead, where he still holds the single season assist record.
At this time, D. Greene Sports represents players in the NBA D-League, in the NBL Canada, and other various international leagues. Mr. Greene has previously mentored University of Tiffin students, like myself, with player placement. Through this internship, I will be helping Mr. Greene place his client, Stefan Bonneau, in the QBF, and pending successful placement may assist him with placing other players. The long-term goal for me is to gain experience in the sports industry, but for Mr. Greene it is to establish a relationship with the QBF for possible future placements following my departure from Qatar.

The Qatar Basketball Federation (QBF) is composed of ten teams, which represent various sports clubs in and around Doha, Qatar. This league make-up is very different from that of professional leagues in America, where teams represent various cities. Due to the teams being represented by sports clubs, they are not solely focused on their basketball team, as they also represent soccer teams that play in Qatar professional soccer league, the Qatar Stars League (QSL). As a result, it can be difficult to identify the appropriate person within the club to talk to, and due to Qatar's national language being Arabic, there can be language barriers when communicating with the points of contact. The ten teams in the league are:
Al Sadd
Al Jaysh
Al Rayyan
Al Gharafa
Al Wakrah
Qatar Sports Club
Al Shamal
Al Arabi
Al Ahli
Al Khor
